Product conditions
Condition tells you how it looks. Testing tells you how it works.
Cosmetic grade and technical functionality are two different things. We keep them separate so you can choose the look and price that fit you.

First: product type
New, refurbished or second-hand?
Refurbished
Previously used, professionally inspected, tested, cleaned, reset and restored where necessary.
Second-hand
Previously owned and checked for functionality, but not presented as having gone through the same full refurbishment process.
Then: cosmetic grade
Three simple appearance levels.
The grade describes appearance. It does not mean Grade A is technically faster or more functional than Grade C.
A
As Good as New
Little to no visible signs of previous use. A very clean screen and housing during normal use.
REPLACE WITH REAL GRADE A PHOTO
B
Lightly Used
Small scratches, marks or light signs of previous use. A strong balance between appearance and price.
REPLACE WITH REAL GRADE B PHOTO
C
Visibly Used
Clear signs of use such as scratches or wear. The most economical cosmetic option.
REPLACE WITH REAL GRADE C PHOTO
What the grade does not tell you
Appearance is only one part of the product.
Technical testing
Refurbished devices go through the required functional checks regardless of cosmetic grade.
Battery condition
Battery health is communicated separately and is not determined by Grade A, B or C.
Warranty
Warranty depends on product type and published terms, not on cosmetic grade alone.
FAQ
Product condition questions.
Will a Grade C device work worse than Grade A?
For refurbished devices, the cosmetic grade describes appearance. Functionality is assessed separately.
Can a Grade A phone have a used battery?
Yes. Cosmetic appearance and battery health are separate. The battery must still meet Tellyco’s published minimum standard.
Are the sample photos the exact device I will receive?
Unless explicitly stated on the product page, condition images should be treated as examples of the grade rather than photos of the exact unit.
